Today we started a blogging class at the Day Worker Center. It combines conversational English with writing for blogs. Today’s assignment was to converse about a favorite job and to describe why it was a good experience. Be watching for those blogs. Since I speak little Spanish and am the teacher, the class is limited to the workers who already speak some English. Eventually we’ll start a second blog class to be taught in Spanish. If you leave a comment for the workers it really makes a difference.
